We started basefloor after watching friends try to run live sessions on tools built for corporate meetings: clunky, expensive, and blind to the fact that teaching is its own thing. A live class needs registration, reminders, payments, recordings, and a room that can hold hundreds — all without a second tab open.
So we built one place where teachers can list a class, collect enrolments, broadcast live, and never ask a student to download anything. Students browse, enrol, and show up. That's it.
